What are the mechanics of taking a test?

According to Google AI, the mechanics of taking a test are skills and strategies that help you pass a test. Those skills can include studying, managing time and using logic to answer test questions.
Over the course of writing lessons that teach students how to take a test, I’ve narrowed it down to 3 key areas that students struggle in when they have trouble taking a test.
*Test Anxiety
*Studying
*Test Questions

Test Anxiety:
After years of teaching, I’ve found that test anxiety affects lots of test takers. Not only are there all sorts of things you need to learn and know to be a successful test taker, but your test anxiety is real, and is something that can be helped.
You’re not going to be able to cure your test anxiety from the strategies I teach, but you can learn coping strategies and practice to help with your test anxiety.

Studying:
When you were in school, you were probably taught how to study. It was probably not according to your learning type, probably a one size fits all style of lessons. It was probably not your learning style, but you passed. Wouldn’t it be great if you can learn how to study, how to organize your materials and how to review that material so you’re ready to pass your test?

Test Questions:
Have you ever tried to answer multiple choice questions as acdc? Just guessed on the answer? Swore your teacher just made up the question and answer choices?
What if there’s a way for you to learn how to answer those questions in a way that will let you pass your test?

Knowing the content for your test is important, knowing the mechanics of taking a test is crucial to passing your test.
