Feeling nervous before a big exam is normal. The goal isn’t to eliminate anxiety completely—it’s to keep it from interfering with your performance.
One of the best ways to reduce test pressure is preparation. A study plan, regular practice tests, and good sleep are more effective than last-minute cramming.
When anxious thoughts appear, replace “What if I fail?” with “I’ve prepared for this, and I can take one question at a time.”
Practice breathing slowly, read each question carefully, and focus only on the question in front of you.
Remember: feeling test pressure does not mean you’re unprepared. Many successful test takers feel nervous before important exams.
