Study Smarter, Not Harder: A Better Way to Learn

Many students believe that more study time automatically leads to better results. In reality, effective studying matters more than simply studying longer.

Try these three changes:

  1. Study in short, focused sessions.
  2. Use active recall by testing yourself instead of rereading notes.
  3. Review mistakes and identify patterns.

Personalized learning matters too. Some students learn best by seeing information, others by hearing it, and others by doing it. Identifying how you learn best can make studying more efficient.

The goal isn’t to work harder than everyone else. The goal is to use strategies that help you learn and remember information more effectively.
