What is test anxiety? Test anxiety is when you get anxious just thinking about taking your test. If you think that you’re “bad” at taking tests, you might just have test anxiety.

You can go online and find several ways to help with test anxiety. The websites with that information might tell you to take a deep breath and count to 10. Well, this might work for some, but not most people.
How do you learn and practice this? Will it work, or not? You probably think that it won’t make a difference. It will work, just not that way.

After being a teacher, and finding out what works and what doesn’t, I wrote lesson plans that taught practical ways students can learn and use test anxiety coping skills. You’ll probably have test anxiety before and during a test.

  • What is a certificate vs degree?

What is a certificate vs degree?

Some jobs require you to have a degree to get the job. What’s the difference between a certificate vs degree? Why does it matter?

If you went to a 4+ year college, you can earn a degree for a specific topic. At a cost. Not everyone is cut out for college, and it costs lots of money to attend. It also takes a lot of time.

Earning a certificate in a field is a way for you to show what you know, usually without going into debt. The time you’ll invest in getting a certificate can be months vs years.

Sometimes you can earn the certificate in a new field, and make more money by taking a test to receive certification in the field of your choice. Other times you can work or apprentice in a field, and show that you know the content by taking a test.

Brainshi Test Course helps you get prepared for taking any kind of test with any content.

  • What are the mechanics of taking a test?

What are the mechanics of taking a test?

According to Google AI, the mechanics of taking a test are skills and strategies that help you pass a test. Those skills can include studying, managing time and using logic to answer test questions.
Over the course of writing lessons that teach students how to take a test, I’ve narrowed it down to 3 key areas that students struggle in when they have trouble taking a test.
    *Test Anxiety
    *Studying
    *Test Questions

    Test Anxiety:
After years of teaching, I’ve found that test anxiety affects lots of test takers. Not only are there all sorts of things you need to learn and know to be a successful test taker, but your test anxiety is real, and is something that can be helped.
You’re not going to be able to cure your test anxiety from the strategies I teach, but you can learn coping strategies and practice to help with your test anxiety.

    Studying:
When you were in school, you were probably taught how to study. It was probably not according to your learning type, probably a one size fits all style of lessons. It was probably not your learning style, but you passed. Wouldn’t it be great if you can learn how to study, how to organize your materials and how to review that material so you’re ready to pass your test?

    Test Questions:
Have you ever tried to answer multiple choice questions as acdc? Just guessed on the answer? Swore your teacher just made up the question and answer choices?
What if there’s a way for you to learn how to answer those questions in a way that will let you pass your test?

Knowing the content for your test is important, knowing the mechanics of taking a test is crucial to passing your test.

  • What is your learning style?

    What is your learning style?

What is your learning style, and why does it matter? You learn new information either as a visual learner, auditory learner or a kinesthetic learner. This is how you learn and remember information.
Howard Gardner is a doctor that created the concept of multiple intelligences. There are eight different styles of learning. How you learn and process information is your primary type of learning style.
When you’re in school, your teacher teaches you a lesson. You memorize facts, and remember them to use in your test. This works well if you’re an auditory learner, listening to the information and processing it by hearing it. What if you’re a visual or kinesthetic learner? Tough luck.
Everybody learns and processes information differently. It’s not the one size fits all type of teaching you’ve learned in the past. How can you figure it out, and apply it to getting ready to take your test? This is where Brainshi Test Course works.
At Brainshi Test Course, you’ll learn if you have one of the primary types of learning: Visual, Auditory and Kinesthetic.
