What are high stake tests?

High stake tests are any test you need to take that will bump you up to the next level.

These could be quarter, semester or final exams in high school and college. You’ll need to pass these tests to show that you know the content you’ve been learning. If you don’t pass the exams, you don’t move on to the next level of learning. This is why they’re called high stakes tests.

In middle  school you might take the PSAT for slotting you into courses, or applying for private high schools.

In  high schools, you’ll take the SAT or ACT. This will give you an idea of what your score might be when you take the actual SAT or ACT test and apply for college.

High schools also take state tests. These tests show you where you stand compared to other students taking the same test. Either you do well, or your scores aren’t that great. These scores will put you in advanced or lower courses in school. Your school also gets funding according to the test score average.

High Stakes test in colleges would be :

MCAT, LSAT, GMAT, GRE, DAT, OAT, PCAT, Praxis, and degree specific exams.

For other jobs, your high stakes test would be certification or  a license.

BRAINSHi Test Course is designed to teach you HOW to pass a test in any high stakes test you’ll encounter.
